Next Generation Services – New Appointment At RBS Wealth

At the Wealth Institute, part of RBS Wealth in the UK, Allie Carr has been appointed to the newly-created role of head of Next Generation Services. Reporting to Mark Evans, global head of the Wealth Institute, she will focus on working with the sons and daughters of clients with significant wealth.

Carr has been working for Coutts & Co since 2006, previously as senior business manager in the chief administration office, where she worked on a number of brand and communications projects. Before Coutts she was with RS Live, working on corporate event management. Prior to that, she worked at Trimedia Communications in London and Nakata Planning Group in Colorado Springs in the US.

The Next Generation service has been set up as a third string to the services offered by the Wealth Institute, which provides advice and guidance on philanthropy and family business consultancy and hosts forums and networking events for clients across Coutts & Co, Adam & Company and RBS Coutts.

The new role will be to partner with private bankers and their clients across all areas of the three businesses, to create and deliver educational, networking and advisory services for the "next generation" of the wealthiest clients.

Carr said: “Following the huge demand for our Assets and Responsibilities courses over the last few years, this is clearly an important area for our clients and their children.”

The Wealth Institute, founded in 2005 by Mark Evans, initially with three members of staff within Coutts & Co, has grown to 11 employees and now provides advice on the subjects of philanthropy, family business and now next generation to clients of Coutts, RBS Coutts and Adam across the world.
